Just across the street and in a hidden alley, is our favorite “proeflokaal.”  Drink “genever” and other Dutch specialties in the original 1679 bar. An historic distillery not to be missed. (18 and over only)

Directly around the corner from Hotel Damsquare is Amsterdam's most famous cookie bakery! Stay with us and it's easy to be the first in line.  These famous cookies are baked fresh every morning and when they are sold out for the day the shop closes for the day!

Rederij P.
